- Overseeing day-to-day site operations on civil engineering and infrastructure projects
- Managing subcontractors, plant and materials to ensure productivity and health & safety compliance
- Ensuring works are delivered to programme, budget and high quality standards
- Reporting to the Project Manager and liaising with the client and stakeholders on progress and technical matters
- Leading toolbox talks and ensuring compliance with method statements and RAMS
- Driving a strong safety-first culture on-site
- Supporting junior team members and helping foster a collaborative site environment
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on civils, infrastructure (substations, renewables, utilities, groundworks, drainage, or roads)
- SMSTS, CSCS (black or gold) and First Aid at Work essential
- Strong understanding of temporary works, permits to dig, and CDM regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, commercial staff and clients
