Why Join Us?

At AAT, we’re on a mission to empower the future of accounting through innovative digital platforms. If you’re a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and leadership experience, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

What exactly will you be doing?

As Platform Manager (Business Systems) at AAT, you will be responsible for:

Leading the management and improvement of AAT’s critical business systems, with a primary focus on Dynamics 365 F&O and CRM.
Developing and maintaining the Technical Strategy for Dynamics 365, CRM, and associated services, ensuring alignment with AAT’s 2030 goals.
Overseeing the release management lifecycle across multiple environments, ensuring robust testing, support processes, and platform resilience.
Driving process optimisation and working closely with other platform managers and cross-functional teams to refine business processes for maximum efficiency, identifying and positively exploiting our technology landscape to deliver real business benefits.
Working with a team of Test Analysts, Financial Systems Analysts, and Change Leads, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations, ensuring external service providers meet AAT’s service level agreements.
Keeping up with the latest industry trends through horizon scanning, ensuring AAT’s systems remain at the cutting edge of technology.

What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Deep technical expertise in Dynamics 365 and the broader Microsoft ecosystem, including finance, operations, and CRM modules.
Proven experience in release management, deployment processes, and system integration.
Strong understanding of financial and business systems, with the ability to manage and optimise them to meet organisational needs.
Experience in managing complex technical projects and leading teams of specialists.
Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop your team to reach their full potential.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Vendor management experience, including contract negotiation and ensuring third-party providers meet service expectations.
Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in complex technical environments with a focus on risk management and compliance.
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies to manage iterative development and releases.

25 days’ annual leave with the opportunity to buy and sell, increasing one day per year up to a maximum of 30 days plus bank holidays.
Great pension scheme whereby AAT will contribute up to 10.15%, life assurance and critical illness cover.
Health cash plan.
