Summary
We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Head of Operations (Payroll) to lead the delivery of a high-quality, accurate, and compliant payroll service across the organisation. This is a key senior leadership role, with responsibility for overseeing complex payroll operations, ensuring staff are paid correctly and on time, and aligning service delivery with organisational objectives and statutory obligations.
You will lead a dedicated team to manage all aspects of payroll processing, including pensions, HMRC compliance, statutory payments, and year-end activity. You will be accountable for system integrity, risk management, and audit readiness, while also driving continuous improvement and contributing to wider transformation across HR, finance, and digital services.
