Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm | Monday to Friday | Term Time Only

Long Term Futures works with a wide range of primary, secondary and specialist SEN schools across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. A number of our partner schools are currently looking to appoint Pastoral Assistants to provide support for students with special educational needs (SEN).

We are looking for individuals who are confident, reliable, and passionate about working with young people. Experience in an education setting is ideal, but we also welcome applications from those with relevant backgrounds in care, youth work, or support roles who are keen to develop their career in education.

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide pastoral and emotional support to students on a 1-1 and small group basis
- Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation
- Support with monitoring student attendance, progress and behaviour
- Support the implementation of individual care or behaviour plans
- Promote a safe, calm and nurturing school environment
- Work closely with teachers and support teams to encourage student progress

Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working with young people in education, care or support roles
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident managing behaviour in a calm and supportive manner
- Committed to promoting student well-being and development
