More detail about the role An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Emergency Department (ED) for a band 2 Support Worker. We are averaging nearly 106000 patients per year, approx. 290 patients per day. We see all specialties including Paediatrics, Plastics, Orthopaedics, Medical and Surgical. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and committed Support Workers to assist in all areas of the department. ED has recently undergone a large redesign and there is now an exciting opportunity to form part of a new team and contribute towards an even better way of working. You will be part of a well-established team, with a commitment to providing excellence in Emergency care. We work alongside a multi-disciplinary team, in a Trust which aims to make all its services exemplary in both clinical and operational aspect This post has been identified as involving access to vulnerable adults and/or children and in line with Trust policy successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check. If you join before the implementation date, the pay award will be backdated to your start date.
