Summary
As Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll lead and coordinate all repairs and maintenance across our beautifully designed Stoke Gifford Retirement Village in Bristol—including buildings, facilities, and grounds. With strong leadership and deep knowledge of building systems, you’ll ensure smooth, efficient operations while supporting a safe, efficient, and high-quality well maintained living environment for our residents at Stoke Gifford Retirement Village.
Main Duties
• Supervise, train, and manage a team of maintenance staff assigning tasks, setting schedules, and monitoring performance to ensure high-quality work and timely completion of work orders
• Carry out minor repairs where possible and drive a high-performance culture within your team where our aspiration is to carry out more repairs ourselves
• Respond to emergency situations to support where required, providing technical support to ensure timely resolutions
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and facilities to identify and prioritise maintenance and repair needs
• Coordinate and oversee the work of external contractors
• Respond promptly to resident requests and concerns related to maintenance issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, repairs, and asset maintenance histories
