The Area Housekeeping Services Manager will lead the daily housekeeping and cleaning operations, ensuring smooth and effective service delivery.
Job Description
You’ll manage and structure the site housekeeping team to meet high standards consistently.
This role is key to driving ISS processes, systems, and compliance on site, helping to maintain quality and operational excellence at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure effective staff management and compliance with all HS&E policies, promoting a strong safety culture and proper PPE use
Maintain a healthy, safe, and secure environment in line with all relevant legislation and client policies, including GDPR and safeguarding
Oversee recruitment, sickness, absence, and disciplinary procedures in compliance with ISS policies
Manage Time & Attendance systems, ensuring accurate wage submissions and timely onboarding of new staff
Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering excellent stakeholder engagement and identifying growth opportunities
Lead, motivate, and develop teams to meet and exceed quality and productivity targets, including managing subcontractors
Produce accurate reports, support continuous improvement of KPIs/SLAs, and drive innovation through training and mentoring
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong time management with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Able to work independently using own initiative
Effective communication skills at all organisational levels
Proficient in IT, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Experience in people management
Geographically suitable for the role
