This is an exciting opportunity to lead sustainability and Net Zero operations programmes across the European operations of a major global bank.
As part of a globally connected team, you’ll help shape and deliver impactful sustainability strategies, supporting both ISS and the client in achieving their ambitious environmental targets.
Job Description
You will act as the key sustainability contact for the region, collaborating closely with stakeholders at all levels across ISS and the client’s business.
With strong exposure and the chance to operate on a larger platform, this role offers fantastic growth potential.
You’ll also engage with sustainability leads from across the ISS global network to drive innovation, share best practice, and deliver meaningful improvements in performance and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the regional sustainability and net zero operations programme aligned with ISS and client targets
Coordinate carbon reduction efforts across the supply chain within the wider Climate Transition Plan
Drive delivery of key environmental initiatives such as Energy Optimisation and Zero Waste programmes
Embed sustainability into all ISS service lines including FM, technical services, and workplace experience
Monitor, validate, and report environmental data and progress against regional targets
Develop guidance, toolkits, and support regional environmental forums to share best practices
Build strong client relationships and support audits, compliance activities, and business growth opportunities
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven experience in sustainability, ideally within FM or corporate real estate
Strong ability to build, manage, and influence stakeholder relationships
Degree qualified in Sustainability or related environmental discipline
IEMA membership preferred (or working towards)
Confident in leading sustainability programmes and reporting progress
Skilled in integrating sustainability into operational service delivery
Knowledge of environmental compliance and data validation practices
