Maintenance Operatives (Highways)

Industry: Civil Engineering

Location: Isle of Wight

Hours: 2pm - 10.30pm, 40 hours per week

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: Temporary, immediate start, ongoing

Duties:

Working within a small team, attending reactive maintenance requests including;
filling of potholes, basic tarmacking,
repairing, replacing and repainting street furniture,
general labouring and manual handling.
Adherence to quality and health and safety standards.

Experience:

Must have previous construction experience and be physically fit due to the nature of duties.
Highways experience is an advantage.
Must have a full driver license and an awareness of health and safety.
Must be able to work well as part of a team, to instruction.

Salary: £12.21 per hour worked, overtime paid at time and a half
