Summary
TeacherActive is currently looking for a versatile teacher to join a large and thriving secondary school in Liverpool. The ideal Humanities Teacher will be adaptable and enjoy teaching subjects like History, Religious Education, and Classical Civilisation/ Classics. The school is committed to its students, offering diverse development opportunities that enable students to develop and achieve their goals. The school has specific SEND initiatives to ensure each day is inclusive for each pupil.
We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join the school on a short-term basis from September 2025 who can teach KS3 to KS5. There is potential to become permanent staff for a teacher who aligns well with the school. The school is in the process of developing a new curriculum with a focus on humanities, so now is an exciting time for you to join this team.
The successful Humanities Teacher will have:
- QTS with a Humanities specialism (ECT’s are welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching Humanities up to KS5
- Excellent classroom management
