Summary

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an aspiring leader to join the Senior Management Team as Head of School – Maths across the College Group.

This is an opportunity for the right person to inspire and motivate a team and maximise achievement.

As Head of Maths, you will oversee teaching and learning across the provision, manage the team and lead the design and delivery of the Mathematics curriculum.

The College is looking for a Head of Mathematics who combines strong subject knowledge with a clear vision for delivering high-quality education and training. You’ll play a pivotal role in, managing a team of teachers, driving teaching and learning initiatives, and developing a range of assessment strategies.

For the post holder, a strong understanding of mathematics and the strategic aims of further education is essential. As part of the College’s Senior Management Team, the successful candidate will be able to contribute to the implementation of the College’s strategic plans.

Highly effective organisational skills are essential, and the role requires all the attributes to lead, inspire and motivate colleagues to work collaboratively as a team.

This is a non-teaching role.
