Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join us on a maternity cover basis, to oversee and enhance the quality of our complex care services for adults and children. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care, aligning with our commitment to excellence. This is initially on a maternity cover basis (12 months) with a potential to be extended.
Duties of the Clinical Lead Nurse:
Oversee a small case load and support the nurse management team.
On call responsibilities.
Provide clinical leadership and support to our nurse managers, ensuring best practices are followed.
Oversee the development and implementation of personalised care plans
Conducting clinical audits to maintain high standards of care.
Working collaboratively with clinical director and clinical nurse management team to ensure best evidence based practice is followed
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation.
Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Nurse (RN) with valid NMC registration.
Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential).
Significant experience in a clinical leadership role within community care setting
Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care.
Enhanced DBS check with the child and adult workforce is desirable but can be provided to the successful candidate.
