We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mental Health and Wellbeing Specialist Practitioner to join our Occupational Health and Wellbeing (OHWB) Team, supporting the health and wellbeing of all staff at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This post is open to those with a mental health nursing, occupational therapy or social work background.

You will work with staff at CUH on a 1:1 and group basis to provide specialist advice, expertise and support regarding mental health and wellbeing in relation to work environments and the healthcare setting. You will have an in depth knowledge of mental health conditions and a specialist understanding the impact of health on work and work on health.

The Mental Health and Wellbeing specialist practitioner will have a key role in providing specialist advice, expertise and support regarding mental health and wellbeing in relation to work environments and the healthcare setting, understanding the impact of health on work and work on health.

Working alongside Occupational Health and Wellbeing (OHWB) colleagues you will also provide support and training to staff within OH and managers across the Trust in relation to mental health, emotional health and psychological wellbeing.

You will contribute to multidisciplinary decision-making regarding patient care and promote and contribute to collaborative working with other departments, services and agencies, including other mental health services internal and external to the hospital.

You will also be responsible for providing direct line management, support and clinical oversight of the Wellbeing Practitioners and responsible for undertaking mental health assessment and formulation clinics for Trust and external clients.
