Summary

Do you want to be part of a national network supporting the delivery of health and care research across England? Are you experienced in producing high quality plans, data reports and briefing documents for decision makers? Can you confidently engage key stakeholders and advise senior leadership teams? Do you have excellent data analysis skills?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the NIHR Research Delivery Network supporting the development of the health and care systems capacity and capability to deliver research. You will engage with a range of stakeholders including NHS health and care professionals, independent sector health and care providers, patients and the public and other NIHR customers including Life Sciences Industry.

You will be responsible for leading the operational delivery of the Health and Care Settings function and manage the team who deliver this service. With exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail you will identify areas of strategic concern in relation to research delivery in health and care settings by interrogating our data systems as well soft/qualitative intelligence from a range of sources.

You will need brilliant interpersonal and leadership skills and be able to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders of all levels as well as deliver a variety of capacity and capability development projects. The role reports into the Head of Health and Care Settings and you will be part of the Senior Management Team. The role holder will work closely with the Health and Care Settings Manager to support a large support team and will be expected to work collaboratively with the Health and Care Specialty Programme Leads and Specialty Team members supporting an ambitious programme of work aimed at delivering the organisation objectives.

This role will be based in the RDNCC office on Queen Street, Leeds. We work in a hybrid way with an expectation that all RDNCC staff spend at least 40% of their time office. We are also open to discussing other flexible working arrangements.
