Summary
We are recruiting an outdoor Pig Stockperson for a farm in Nottinghamshire, DN22.
The chosen candidate will work with a long-established family farming business that has 600 sows on an outdoor pig unit in North Nottinghamshire, producing 7kg weaners on a contract basis.
Person specifications:
Good stockmanship skills
An eye for detail
The ability to maintain accurate records
Tractor driving experience required
Self-motivation and the ability to work under one's own initiative alongside the unit manager to achieve production targets
A positive attitude
Salary: £28,000 - 32,000 DOE
Plus:
2-bed cottage
Workplace pension
20 days' annual Holiday entitlement (20 days plus bank holidays or days off in lieu)
Hours: 07:00 to 17:00 with alternate weekends off.
