WD Leisure Trust are looking for a General Operative to join the team at Clydebank Leisure Centre.

The General Operative is part of the Leisure Services team within the Leisure Trust and they are responsible for the day to day cleaning and housekeeping services and equipment set up requirements within the facility. They will require to undertake a combination of dryside duties with a flexible day to day variable need.

The General Operative will contribute to the provision of an effective and efficient quality service, ensuring customer-focused service delivery and the achievement of objectives and performance standards within the establishment.

Key activities include:
• Maintain effective communication with customers and respond to enquiries as appropriate
• Set up and dismantle equipment as required within established safe systems of work
• Assist with ensuring that events and activities run smoothly
• Carry out regular checks of equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Maintain good standards of cleanliness by undertaking a range of cleaning duties
• Key holding responsibility for early morning cleaning operations
• During adverse weather assist with salting and/or snow clearance as necessary
