Summary
Health and Safety Co-ordinator
Chippenham, United Kingdom, Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
6-month Temporary contract
As HSE Co-ordinator, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our HSE Advisors by ensuring compliance with legislation and codes of practice, maintaining key systems and data reporting, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across our manufacturing site.
- Support the deployment of HSE policies and procedures
- Monitor, evaluate, and improve HSE practices on-site
- Administer HSE training programmes and support new starter inductions
- Contribute to HSE audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations
- Compile and report monthly HSE statistics and KPIs
- Maintain HSE software systems (ODISEO, ENHESA, SYPOL)
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, People, Finance) and external stakeholders on HSE matters
- Assist in environmental reporting and improvement projects
About you
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
- A real passion for Health, Safety & Environmental practices
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with UK HSE legislation
- Exposure to Continuous Improvement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong communicator with excellent organisation skills
