What's involved with this role:

Job Title: Repairs Admin Coordinator

Ref: Bristol 5272752

Pay rate: £14.60 per hour PAYE



This role will be fully office-based for the first 2–3 months, with the possibility of hybrid working up to two days per week from home once fully competent, subject to circumstances and adequate office coverage.



The role:

This role will involve managing reports of Damp and Mould within council homes.

From receiving the initial report, you will arrange the necessary repairs and inspections, make appointments, log & monitor cases, respond to enquiries in the shared inbox and keep residents updated on progress.

You will communicate with colleagues on site throughout the day ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales and manage the schedule to recognise and act on issues around health and safety of resources.

You will update all systems immediately with accurate notes that reflect the current repair status and maintain communication with all stakeholders.

Strong customer service & IT skills are essential, as is an ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

A knowledge of Housing Services or scheduling would be an advantage but not essential.



What the client is looking for:

Qualification in GCSE Math’s and English or equivalent qualification or relevant experience
Proven experience of working in a customer service environment
Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, and telephone manner
Able to work well as part of a team by communicating effectively with colleagues and have a willingness to assist where needed
Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to communicate successfully with a wide range of partners both internal and external
Able to demonstrate knowledge and/or experience of equalities, diversity, and inclusion issues
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications or equivalent and a willingness to learn new applications and technology as appropriate
