Summary

Join our forward-thinking Digital & Technology team as a Power Platform Developer, where innovation meets impact. As part of our Digital Centre of Excellence, you will play a leading role in architecting, developing, and scaling intelligent, digital solutions across the organisation.

The Role:
This is a key role for an experienced full-stack developer with a strong foundation in Microsoft Power Platform and a passion for modern cloud-based development practices, including Azure. You will be our technical lead. You will collaborate with Cross-functional teams, Product Owners, and Delivery Partners to design secure, scalable and user-focused solutions that drive business transformation.

You will collaborate with outsourced digital suppliers and our IT Services supplier to ensure our products and services work.

Your focus will be on delivering high-quality solutions that empower our organisation to achieve its goals.

You will have a crucial role within our Digital Centre of Excellence helping to build capability across the TRA and supporting our in-house teams to innovate.

You’ll also mentor Junior Developers, helping grow internal capability and championing low-code development within the organisation.

We will provide you with opportunities to upskill and develop in the role so if you demonstrate potential, we will work with you as well, to obtain any necessary accreditations/certifications to become an expert.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex Power Platform solutions (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Pages).
  • Integrate Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, API Management, Azure B2C, Azure Front Door) to support scalable and enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Develop and maintain custom connectors and REST APIs to extend platform functionality and connect with third-party systems.
  • Use your skills as a full-stack developer to problem solve solutions within Power Platform using C#, HTML, Javascript and other languages
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand complex business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement governance, security, Continuous Integration/Deployment and compliance best practices in Power Platform environments.
  • Support the adoption of AI Builder and other emerging capabilities for intelligent automation.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and coach to internal teams and non-technical users.
  • Lead solution architecture reviews, ensure code quality, and contribute to agile ceremonies.
