Work Experience Lead

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Do you have a passion for helping young people prepare for the world of work?


We're looking for a Work Experience Lead to join our team and play a key role in enhancing our students' career readiness and employability skills.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage a dedicated team supporting students with high-quality work experience opportunities.
  • Build strong partnerships with local employers and internal stakeholders.
  • Champion best practices in work placement planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Deliver training and guidance to staff and students on work readiness.
  • Support learners individually and in groups to help overcome barriers to success.


What we're looking for:

  • A strong background in learner support, careers guidance, or employer engagement.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of current education and employment pathways, including T-Levels and apprenticeships.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and student-focused approach.
