Summary

Salary: Grade 3, £24,338 - £25,403 per annum pro rata. Approximately £17,799 - £18,578 per annum (0.73132 FTE)About us and the roleAt Krishna Avanti Primary School, we believe every role makes a difference in the lives of our children and our wider community.As our Administrative Assistant, you will help keep our school organised and welcoming by maintaining accurate records and information systems, managing reception and enquiries, and helping to plan and coordinate trips, events, and activities that enrich school life.
You will work closely with staff, pupils, families, and visitors, ensuring everyone feels valued and supported in line with our caring ethos rooted in respect, inclusivity, and safeguarding.

Provide general clerical, administrative, and financial support under the guidance of senior staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Manage and maintain manual and computerised records, produce reports, and handle complex ICT tasks and submissions to external agencies.
Organise school trips, events, and other activities, while supporting the planning and development of administrative procedures and policies.
Supervise, train, and support other staff as needed, and provide advice and guidance to staff, pupils, and visitors.
Promote and safeguard the welfare of children, ensuring compliance with policies on child protection, health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection.Why should you apply

What are we looking for?
High level of literacy and numeracy skills.
Good knowledge/understanding of basic financial tasks
Evidence of the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
Ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities.
Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school.
