Summary
Administrative Assistant & Lunch Break Supervisor - Pucklechurch CE VC Primary SchoolAt Pucklechurch CE VC Primary School, we have a new opportunity for a dedicated and friendly Administrative Assistant & Lunch Break Supervisor to join our welcoming administrative team. This dual role combines front-of-house administrative duties with supporting the school during the lunchtime period to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for our pupils.
Job Overview
As our Administrative Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, overseeing the reception area, answering phone calls, handling face-to-face enquiries, signing in visitors, and maintaining accurate school records. You’ll also provide general clerical and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the school office.
In addition, as a Lunch Break Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting pupils during the lunch period—encouraging positive behaviour, helping with routines, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children during their break.
Job Requirements
Minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
Experience using information management systems and strong IT skills
High standard of verbal and written communication
A calm, reliable, and proactive approach to working with children
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential
