Summary


You will be based at our Cody depot, to provide administrative support to the Cody Team Leaders, to assist them to carry out their daily tasks and undertake driving assignments as directed by Team Leaders/Transport Managers

We drive a variety of vehicles and work from depots at Farnborough, Bracknell, Royal Surrey County Hospital, Redhill, Wexham, Ashford and Reading depots.

The department provides services to customers between 06:30 and 20:00, Monday to Friday. Hours will vary to meet the urgent demands of our users but must be flexible. Please review Job description for details.

You should be reliable, have a responsible and flexible attitude with good organisational skills, and be resourceful, honest, with the commitment and ability to work on your own or as part of a team.

You must have a full clean driving licence.
• Answer Transport Office telephones and handle queries as directed by Team Leaders – booking requests.
• Use CAPS software to book and allocate AD HOC jobs and couriers as required.
• Ascertaining availability of staff in preparation for rota discussion – to include Bank availability/staff on leave etc.
• Coordinate for all depots for courier requirements, either pre-arranged or emergency notice.
• Creation of week forward rota for discussion with and approval by Team Leaders.
• Initial suggestions on forward rota – for discussion with and approval by Team Leaders.
• Data collection/entry e.g., Bank hours and sickness records for all depots. Produce monthly/quarterly reports to Business Office.
• Maintain current list of department vans, book services, book in vehicles to remedy defects etc and collate information accordingly.
• Collect and maintain vehicle mileage/usage for all depots.
