Summary
Experienced School Science Technician needed in South Birmingham.
Start Date: September 2025 - Ongoing with possible permanent position for right candidate

Required to start from September 2025, this popular school seek an enthusiastic Science Technician for full time post. This role requires a Science Technician who has previous experience in the field. Duties would include:
• General upkeep of the science lab and equipment
• Setting up, collecting and testing samples
• Maintaining, calibrating and cleaning equipment
• Providing technical support
• Writing reports, reviews and summaries
• Carrying out risk assessments
• Ordering & maintain stock levels
A science background is essential for the role, the school will not consider applicants that have not had experience in the filed. The right applicant also must have at least 6 months experience working with children. Please consider this before applying.
