Summary
Science Teacher – Alternative Provision – Small Groups
This dynamic Alternative Provision is looking to add a QTS Science Teacher to the team to teach science lessons to small classes of Key Stage 3 & 4. The school has excellent facilities and a supportive leadership team. As a Science Teacher you are encouraged to deliver practical lessons, think outside the box, and promote a curiosity for science. You will be joining an experienced team of teachers. Who pride themselves on delivering an outstanding education for all students, tailoring their lessons to meet their needs.
You will be given creative freedom to plan and deliver science lessons that suit your students and will be working closely with another experienced Science Teacher. This role requires a Science Teacher with strong subject knowledge, a love for their subject, and a passion for helping students to overcome barriers to education. This role requires a qualified Science Teacher. The school are happy to consider an ECT with strong classroom management skills.
Job Role:
- Teaching Science to small groups of KS3 & KS4 students.
- Planning and delivering lessons that engage and challenge learners.
- Supporting students with SEMH needs and helping them to re-engage with education.
- Working closely with a supportive pastoral and leadership team.
- Creating a positive and structured learning environment.
