Summary

Location: The locations for this role are Newport, Titchfield (Fareham), Manchester or London.
We operate a flexible hybrid working model across the UK, with colleagues linked to one of our contractual locations and working between office and remote throughout the week. As part of the hybrid working arrangement there is a 40% minimum office attendance requirement.
Salary: £58,594 - £70,634 (National: £58,594 - £66,043, London: £63,751 - £70,634) plus up to £7,500 skills allowance

We’re looking for someone to join our DAP (Data Access Platform) team as an Infrastructure Engineer, working within our Corporate IT & Services division. You’ll be supporting a brand new Cloudera big data platform, and we’ll be looking to you to establish and embed best practises within the team.

Asides from providing technical leadership to the team, your duties will include working with technical architects to translate design into operations, leading and directing the build, management, support and maintenance of solutions.

As an experienced and accomplished infrastructure professional, you’ve got extensive infrastructure expertise, able to lead teams and departments in the design, administration and support of infrastructure solutions and service – including guiding testing activities and managing risks.

You’re highly knowledgeable in maintaining the lifecycle of a service, can communicate its benefits and can ensure it is championed by you and your team.
