Summary
Role: Technical Internal Sales
Salary: £35K - £40K (DOE)
Hours: Mon - Thur 07:30-16:00 & Fri 07:30-12:40
Contract: Permanent - 100% Office Based
Location: Lowton, Warrington
Our client, a market leading manufacturing company, are looking for an experienced Technical Internal Salesperson to be 100% office based. You will have a strong understanding of engineering principles, combined with commercial acumen to support customers and drive sales growth.
As the Technical Internal Salesperson, your duties include:
- Serve as a technical point of contact for customer inquiries, providing product recommendations and application support.
- Develop a deep understanding of company products to effectively communicate value to customers.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Support business development initiatives by identifying new sales opportunities.
- Attend occasional client meetings and trade shows as needed.
- Providing price & availability for customers automotive parts requirements/quotes.
- Processing new sales orders
The successful Technical Internal Salesperson will have the following skills;
- Ideally have previous experience in B2B technical sales within the automotive or manufacturing sectors
- Familiarity with CAD drawings, technical specifications or ERP systems is advantageous.
- Proven experience in a technical sales or customer-facing engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive, manufacturing or industrial environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to understand technical information and translate it into commercial language.
- Proficiency with MS Office required and experience of Syspro or other similar ERP systems preferred but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
