At Kuehne + Nagel we provide production support service package and through life support for our client, as a Warehouse Operative you will support in all standard logistics activities such as goods receipt, quality inspection, storage and picking & packing. In addition, centers co-located with the end user ensure store to fitment service
This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Thursday (08:00 – 16:30 and Fridays (07:30 – 14:30), and a great opportunity to grow with a company that’s passionate about developing talent, providing hand on training, and truly invested in your long-term success




How you create impact



- To support all day to day Warehouse and Supply Chain tasks as required in support of the service contract.
- To ensure all related tasks for the cient are carried out in line with the contracted customer requirements, Logistics Framework and working instructions.
- If required, be part of the Aircraft on ground rota in order to fulfil the customers “Out Of Hours” requirements.
- Operate all MHE, including Forklift Trucks (training provided), as required to fulfil the output of the unit.
- Act as Building Lock Up and conduct security checks as required.
- Be prepared to conduct flexible working commitments between 07:30 and 21:59 within contracted working hours.
- Conduct warehouse processes in line with the position of a warehouse Operative
- Ensuring, that at all times, the Company’s Health & Safety procedures are adhered to, in particular, the use of machinery and protective devices
- Actively contribute towards Continuous Improvement projects and ideas
- To carry out any additional tasks as agreed with the Team Leader



What we would like you to bring



- Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment,
- Customer service skills and able to demonstrate a willingness to go the extra mile for customers.
- Must be computer literate and will have been trained in the use of MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment
- Have an understanding of the need for attention to detail, with a “right first time” approach.
- Experience of operating MJDI/SAP, is very desirable but not essential.
- Must be willing to undergo Security Check Clearance.
- Role is based at customer site in Yeovilton (BA22 8HT), must be able to commute to site for shift patterns stated in advert
