The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a mid-day supervisor with the experience of working with children. The school are looking for someone who can assist with the provision of a healthy lunch time and engage and promote play, maintain a high quality stimulating learning environment, whilst at the same time managing behaviour to meet our school expectations.
At St Mellons we understand that all members of staff play have a role in ensuring our pupils make the best possible progress whilst at our school, as happy and healthy individuals.
The successful candidate would have the responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of our children during the lunch time. They will need to communicate with teachers and LSAs if there are any problems or concerns, and will need to attend training in areas such as food hygiene, first aid and safeguarding.
We would be looking for the successful candidate to demonstrate a great deal of pride in our school and support us in promoting our Christian ethos.

This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12 per hour (scp 2 - 4). This supplement will be reviewed in January 2024 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
