About this opportunity

The Business Manager role offers an outstanding opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic platform environment. This position involves building positive relationships across the organisation and supporting initiatives that craft the future of our business. Reporting to the Business Management Lead, a key member of the Protection Business Management team, you'll ensure the platform runs efficiently. Your responsibilities will include providing outstanding resourcing, recruitment, and workforce insights. This exciting role offers variety, visibility, and the chance to create a real difference!

Your accountabilities will include:

  • Resourcing & Recruitment: Attracting and onboarding the right talent across our labs.

  • Finance & Commercial Management: Ensuring applications like CORE/Jira Align reflect the true resource profile.

  • Workforce Insights: Interpreting colleague data and organisational structures to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and teams.

  • Reporting: Providing regular strategic reports to Platform leadership, ensuring compliance.

  • Sourcing/Supplier Management: Managing resource-related work orders through the appropriate governance mechanisms.

What we need from you?

  • Proven experience in a project management role, preferably within a financial services environment

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data

  • Outstanding communication skills to build relationships across all levels of the organisation

  • Experience with recruitment and talent acquisition processes

  • Proficiency in using project management tools such as CORE/Jira Align

  • A track record of delivering high-quality reports and presentations
