Summary

Barnardo's is seeking a qualified teacher to lead on the implementation of the PATHS Programme for schools in the St Helens area.

PATHS is a whole school, social emotional learning programme for Primary Schools. As Programme Co-ordinator this exciting role will involve providing coaching support to teachers delivering the programme.

You will be part of a UK wide team and full training and support will be provided to equip you to excel in this role.

In addition to the criteria listed in the Person Specification on the generic Programme Co-ordinator job description, certain ‘service-specific' criteria are also required. Applicants must therefore demonstrate in their application form that they currently use the skills and attributes outlined below or have used them previously in employment, education, training, volunteering etc.

Recognised professional teaching qualification
Experience of working in a UK school environment as a qualified teacher.
Post qualification practice experience in the area of SEL
Experience of delivering the current UK Primary Curriculum and its components.
Experience of providing a co-ordination role and developing collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals
A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel to and from schools. Please note: As driving is an intrinsic part of this role, applicants with a disability that prevents them from driving should be able to demonstrate an alternative means of meeting the mobility requirements of the post

Salary: £31,512 - £38,339.60 per annum (FTE)
