Summary
Company Secretarial Administrator | Stanmore | Full Time, Office-Based | £30,000 – £35,000, depending on experience
Our client is a small, friendly firm of Chartered Accountants with approximately 20 staff. They have recently moved to new, bright and modern offices and are all situated on one floor, on the third floor of a commercial office building near Canons Park Tube station.
They are seeking a full-time individual with company secretarial knowledge.
The role will be full-time time split between company secretarial work and general administrative and secretarial duties.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Strong IT skills and confidence using accounting and admin software (experience with IRIS is an advantage)
• A professional and friendly telephone manner
• Proven company secretarial experience or similar administrative background
• Strong attention to detail and good written communication
• Willingness to work in a fully office-based role
What will your role look like?
Company Secretarial Duties (approx. 14 hours per week):
• Maintain statutory records for approximately 500 limited companies using IRIS Company Secretarial
• Form new companies and manage all related documentation
• File annual confirmation statements and make updates to PSCs, Directors, registered offices, and share transactions
• Prepare board minutes and dividend vouchers as required
• Prepare and file approximately 75 dormant sets of accounts annually using IRIS Accounts Production
Administrative & Secretarial Duties:
• Generate fee invoices from the IRIS Fees Ledger and process write-offs as appropriate
• Type letters and emails on behalf of the firm for both internal and client matters
• Answer incoming calls and provide reception cover when required
• Assist with onboarding new clients and updating the internal database
• Perform general administrative tasks as needed
