Summary
Saxondale nursing home is looking for a temporary Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to join our dedicated team on nights. Based in Barnsley, we provide Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite Care for 34 residents.
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll be central to the wellbeing of our residents, delivering outstanding clinical care while promoting a warm, person-centred environment. You’ll lead with compassion, support your colleagues, and make a real impact every single day.
What You Will Do
Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to our residents
Work closely with residents and their families to develop and review personalised care plans
Administer medication safely and in line with clinical guidelines
Monitor the health and wellbeing of residents, acting on changes swiftly and professionally
Support and guide care staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
Ensure thorough, legal, and up-to-date documentation of care
Promote independence, dignity, and engagement through everyday activities and social involvement
Maintain a strong focus on safety, nutrition, and infection control
Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies, following best practice and policies
A full induction into the service will be provided and ongoing support.
