Summary

Assistant Project Manager

We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Severn Trent Water Framework team based at our Wanlip site in Leicestershire.

Location: Wanlip, Leicestershire - site-based at a key water infrastructure projectHours: 45 hours per week Contract: Permanent, Full Time

What will you be responsible for?As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll play a key role in the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of both civil engineering and MEICA works at Wanlip STW, supporting Severn Trent Water's AMP8 programme. You'll work within Kier's Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks business, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver essential infrastructure upgrades.

What will your day to day look like?

Your day-to-day will include:

-Supporting the planning and coordination of civil and MEICA site activities, ensuring works align with programme and quality standards

-Assisting in health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance through RAMS reviews, briefings, inspections, and audits

-Interfacing with design and commercial teams to ensure buildability, value engineering, and programme management

-Supporting procurement, subcontractor management, and change control within NEC contracts

-Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery and handover

What are we looking for?This role of Assistant Project Manager is great for you if:

-You hold an HND/HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, with experience in the water or infrastructure sector

-You have knowledge of civil construction methods and MEICA integration, with a working understanding of NEC contracts and CDM regulations

-You're a proactive communicator and team player with ambition to progress within project management
