Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant:
Are you a caring and resilient care assistant looking to make a difference in a new role? We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers or SEN teaching assistants to join a large SEN provision in the Cheadle area from September.
You will be supporting children aged 4-19 with complex learning disabilities, complex health needs and autism, providing a safe and calm learning environment tailored to each child's needs. You are required to provide personal care, medication administration and moving and handling.
Position Details:
- Location: Cheadle
- Position: Experienced SEN TA
- Type of Work: Temporary/Temp to Perm
- Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £95 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: September 2025
- End date: Ongoing, Long-Term
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training in the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Proof of qualification for Moving and Handling
- Previous experience supporting complex needs, either child or adult
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
