Summary

ob Title: Experienced Embroidery Operative / Seamster
Location: Estover, Plymouth
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently seeking an experienced Embroidery Operative or Seamster/Seamstress to join a small, friendly printing company based in Estover. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain industrial embroidery machines
  • Embroider logos and designs onto garments and textiles
  • Set up machines, including adjusting tensions and settings
  • Cut and stitch fabric to produce finished products
  • Select appropriate embroidery designs and make necessary machine adjustments
  • Prepare garments for embroidery by securely attaching them to the hoop
  • Inspect finished items for accuracy, quality, and consistency
  • Work to production targets and deadlines while maintaining high standards

Requirements:

  • Previous embroidery experience is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience working to production targets
  • Reliable and punctual
