Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team in Wakefield. You will be working in a friendly and fast-paced environment, responsible for the picking, packing, and handling of **wooden gift items. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a team-focused attitude, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
* **Picking and packing** wooden gift items accurately and efficiently
* **Loading and unloading** delivery vehicles with care
* Performing **stock control** duties, including checking and recording stock levels
* Ensuring the **warehouse is kept clean and tidy** at all times
* **Adhering to health and safety** procedures and company policies
* Working collaboratively with other team members to meet daily targets
* Communicating clearly and effectively with supervisors and colleagues
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment (preferred but not essential)
* Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling
* Strong **attention to detail** and organisational skills
* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills
* A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
