Building Services Maintenance Engineer - Electrical

ROLE DESCRIPTION

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Services Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join the Estates & Facilities team at NCG London Colleges. This vital role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the operation of essential electrical systems across our college sites, ensuring a safe, efficient, and fully functional environment for learners, staff, and visitors.

You will be part of a skilled and committed team delivering both planned and reactive maintenance services across a wide range of electrical systems and building infrastructure, including lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, and electrical control panels. You will also work with internal staff and external contractors to ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in full compliance with statutory regulations. In addition to planned maintenance, you will also be expected to carry out a range of reactive and ad-hoc tasks in response to day-to-day operational needs across the estate.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional with a solid background in electrical building services maintenance. You should have strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Experience within educational or public-sector environments is desirable.
