The Role:

As a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting classroom learning across core STEM subjects—Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the delivery of engaging and practical lessons


  • Supporting small groups and individual students to reinforce subject knowledge


  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and build student confidence


  • Contributing to extracurricular STEM activities where possible


    This is an ideal stepping stone for anyone considering teacher training, educational psychology, or working in STEM engagement.

    Who We’re Looking For:
    • A recent or upcoming 2025 graduate with a 2:1 or higher in a STEM subject (e.g. Maths, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science)


    • Experience working with young people (tutoring, mentoring, outreach, volunteering, etc.)


    • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, patient attitude


    • A genuine interest in education and a desire to support students’ academic growth
