As part of our Data and Analytics team, you’ll define, embed, and evolve our approach to data governance, ensuring data is accurate, consistent, and treated responsibly. You’ll work with various stakeholders, emphasizing the importance of effective data governance using storytelling and relating to business needs.

What you’ll be doing:
• Leading, developing, implementing, and maintaining our Data Governance framework.
• Leading initiatives to improve data quality, including establishing and maintaining reporting mechanisms.
• Promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and psychological safety, empowering colleagues to have appropriate autonomy to deliver data outcomes.
• Advising business units and helping them understand and resolve data issues.
• Ensuring we meet data-related regulatory requirements.
• Leading the creation of documentation and data cataloguing to capture technical data definitions and terminology.
• Carrying out line management responsibilities including coaching, 1 to 1s, performance management, and development plans.

What we’re looking for:
• Experience in a senior data governance or data management role.
• Excellent understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality principles, and data lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence and reporting tools.
• Line management experience would be beneficial.
