Summary
Sunderland City Council are going through a positive period of development and transformation, whilst the city itself is undergoing large scale regeneration and development.andnbsp; Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following post within the Economy andamp; Place Directorate.

The Network, Parking and Road Safety Section requires a suitably qualified Group Engineer to provide leadership to the Parking Services and Street Works teams.
andnbsp;
Applicants must be self-motivated and have a flexible approach to working arrangements and will have suitable experience and operational knowledge.
andnbsp;
Additional qualifications would be desirable in Civil Parking Enforcement, and/or Conflict Management.
andnbsp;
The main areas of responsibilities of the post include:
-Provide specialist expertise and knowledge across a range of parking and street works related areas. Additional professional qualifications would be desirable.andnbsp;
-Develop processes and ensure the delivery of services in line with service delivery plan and legislative and environmental requirements.andnbsp;
Manage service resource to ensure a value for money service is delivered in line with Council standing orders and financial regulations.andnbsp;
