Summary
1. To discuss aspects of patient treatment with clinicians and scientists and technically interpret patient treatment related information from clinicians and radiographers with regard to Treatment Planning and Virtual Simulation, Mould Room, Dose Measurement, Brachytherapy and Radioisotope therapy. 2. To ensure that adequate care and well-being of the patient is taken into account and reassure and under supervision advise patients attending for Radio-isotope treatment, Brachytherapy Treatment and the Mould Room. 3. Treatment Planning 3.1. To assist, under supervision to determine and process patient outlining for dose prediction and produce dose predictions for the routine treatment planning of patients using Computer Aided Design software. To use technical judgement to produce the optimum treatment plan from a range of options. 3.2. To calculate treatment machine settings for dose delivery. 3.3. To maintain records of all outlining, treatment planning and calculations. For further details please see the attached job description.
