Summary
Buckinghamshire College Group is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced health professional to join our dedicated team as a T-Level Health Lecturer, specialising in Adult Nursing. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals by delivering high-quality teaching on our new T-Level Health programme.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum and supporting learners through their educational journey, preparing them for placements and careers in the healthcare sector. If you have clinical experience, this is a great opportunity to share your knowledge
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the T-Level Health curriculum.
- Deliver subject expertise in adult nursing, integrating clinical knowledge with theory and practice.
- Support and guide students in achieving their academic and personal goals.
- Work closely with placement providers to ensure effective industry placements and relevant employer engagement.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff development activities, and wider college life.

Taking Teaching Further
The College actively engages with the Education & Training Foundation's Taking Teaching Further scheme to recruit industry professionals to teach within Further Education.
As industry professionals offer our students industry experience and insight we support our unqualified teachers to learn 'on the job'. You will be given full support throughout your development to fully qualified teacher status. Whilst in employment you would be enrolled onto the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. After completion you can choose to move be onto our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification. This is a great way for experienced professionals to achieve a recognised teaching qualification whilst in employment.
