Summary
The Governors of Seely Primary School wish to appoint an experienced Lunchtime Playworker to work alongside another playworker, across F2-UKS2 Primary Phases. The post is Monday to Friday, 11.45am to 1.45pm (10 hours per week) .
We have hard working, friendly and dedicated staff. We also have enthusiastic children, who are willing to learn and enjoy coming to school.The ideal candidate will have:
• Practical play skills and experience and the ability to apply them in a play setting
• Experience of working with children in a Primary school age range in a voluntary or paid capacity
• Qualifications in Playwork, Youthwork or other Children related fields
• Experience of planning programmes for groups of children and consulting with children
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Be flexible and able to use their own initiative
• Be energetic, enthusiastic and creative
• Have excellent communication skillsThe appointments of the successful candidate will be subject to enhanced DBS and other employment checks. All short-listed candidates will be expected to bring photographic proof of identity (e.g. passport, driving licence) and qualifications to interview.
