To take full responsibility for the ongoing management and growth of existing Out of Home Global Accounts across all revenue streams and cultivating opportunities for new global accounts for UCC Europe. Responsible for delivering great leadership, day to day management of direct reports, coaching and driving cross functional working, requiring a strategic mindset and high levels of analytical skills, driving customer category plans, Joint Business Planning and achievement of KPI’s.
The Role:
Work closely with the Global Accounts Director and other key stakeholders across UCCE group to deliver against all the objectives of the business, including sales and profit budgets.
For existing UCC Global accounts, lead the development and delivery of multi-year customer strategies to drive European growth of business ahead of category and competition.
For new business, define a target list of OOH European or Global prospects and build approach strategy underpinned by benefits of working with UCC as their partner. Maximise all possible opportunities through leads generated and/or tenders, winning new business for UCC.
Drive the implementation of Cross Functional working across UCC Coffee departments including Operations, Finance, Technical, Category, Marketing, Customer Services and the regional teams, that support the achievement of the sales and profit targets and deliver the needs of our customers
Review, track and report on UCC and customer performances, creating and presenting quarterly plans to align on and address contingency plans internally and externally.
Lead and coach team to develop annual customer business plans to deliver growth in line with strategy and identifying opportunities for business growth, to achieve sales targets, operational excellence, and customer needs.
Communicates all issues and opportunities relating to the customer in a succinct, effective, and compelling manner enabling all stakeholders to understand the issue/opportunity and the proposed action.
Identify and exploit commercially viable short and long-term customer sales opportunities working closely with the Category and Insight team, accessing industry data streams keeping UCC Coffee ahead of its competitors.
Demonstrate an active senior role in driving the aligned UCC Coffee strategy across all customers and get involved in wider projects to deliver against the overall objectives of the business.
Drive contact strategy, networking at a senior level in all the accounts.
The Person:
Proven ability not only to grow existing customers but also to go after new businesses and convert them.
Experience of managing Out of Home national/ international sizable accounts.
Demonstrable ownership for delivering mutually beneficial, long term strategic JBP’s with relevant customers.
First class leadership, channel development and stakeholder management skills.
Develops effective customer relationships and drive senior relationships.
Thrives on the challenge of taking responsibility for all aspects of customer service delivery
Excellent communicator, including via presentations, adept at negotiating and relations up to CEO
Strategic influencer with a relentless drive to improve commercial results
Clear examples of profitable and sustainable sales delivery.

Uses complex data from customer, category, industry and UCC Coffee to build rational and persuasive internal and external customer proposals and facilitates their achievement by operating with cross-functional personnel and groups.

Availability to travel in the UK and internationally at least 30% of time.
