We are looking for a high calibre Head of/NAC expert with a passion for consumers and brands to join the team at UCC. The successful candidate will create a retail strategy from scratch and drive the growth of our branded and private label offer. They will also have line management of 2 NAMS who will look after our existing retail and café business.
The Role:
Creating and implementing the Strategy with UCC cross channel teams to win new business in Grocery and Out Of Home channels.
Line management of 2 NAMs to develop their capability
Partnering with Senior Marketing lead to create compelling insights to secure new opportunities.
Holding P&L responsibility, you will deliver against challenging yet exciting growth objectives and demonstrate high business acumen across the channels.
Clarity of forecasting and accountability for your teams number at all times across the key drivers:
Coffee volume
Machine Sales
Servicing
Coffee to Go (smart vending proposition)
Side products (syrups, cleaning solutions)
The Person:
A proven highly driven results focused sales leader with broad commercial acumen
A great influencer and communicator at all levels
A superb collaborator, comfortable working with multiple departments
Able to demonstrate skills/experience in the following: Experience gained from the away-from-home and/or retail grocery sectors. Strong preference for experience from a blue-chip background and FMCG training.
Experience of senior selling across different channels including convenience, multiples, foodservice and Grocery.
High drive and tenacity to deliver growth in customers/sales/volumes.
Proven track record of securing new business of scale.
Proven experience of creating and implementing strategies to win new business.
Experience with Category, Brands and Solution Selling.
Multiskilled negotiator.
Strong numeric and data analytical skills.
Commercially astute.
