Summary
Your new role
Our client is in search of a Teaching Assistant to work within their Year 1 classroom. You will be assisting in the general learning and development of the students.
We are looking for individuals who are confident, patient and committed to supporting children's social, emotional, and physical development, including those with additional needs.
Key duties:
- Deliver Maths & English to smaller groups
- Support children's social & emotional development
- Implement Behavioural reward systems and incentives
- Foster positive relationships with children and teachers
- Support the teacher managing classroom behaviour
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for all children to learn
What you'll need to succeed
- DBS
- Full right to work in the UK
- Patience and Compassion
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant desirable
- Experience working with children, whether that be in a school, children's youth clubs, brownies, cubs etc.
- Transferable skills
