Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organized DoLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards) Business Support Officer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure that the DoLS process is managed efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities
Assist in processing DoLS applications and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and timely.
Maintain and update the DoLS database to ensure all records are current and comply with legal standards.
Coordinate meetings and assessments involving multidisciplinary teams relating to DoLS cases.
Prepare, review and distribute reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy for stakeholders and management.
Provide administrative support in the development and implementation of policies surrounding DoLS.
Monitor and track progress of DoLS applications and produce statistical reports as required.
Respond to inquiries regarding DoLS processes and provide information to service users and stakeholders.
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative or business support role, preferably within a health and social care context.
Strong understanding of the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and related legislation.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
High level of proficiency in IT, including experience with database management and reporting software.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to work independently.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
