As part of the development of our brand Enix Power Solutions, we are looking for a Business manager based in Solihull. The brand is specialized in the design and production of custom batteries. We produce battery packs for industrial applications, drones, robotics, instrumentation, and home automation.


Role requirements:

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for daily customer relations, with the following main missions:

- Develop the brand in the UK, with potential expansion to a broader scope.
- Manage an existing B2B client portfolio, including SMEs, mid-sized companies, and key accounts. Ensure regular follow-up and maintain customer loyalty.
- Prospect and develop new accounts while ensuring customer relationship management.
- Managing the entire sales cycle (long sales cycles), including identifying needs, passing on information to the technical departments, presenting and monitoring the offer, negotiating and selling.
- Collaborate closely with the technical, purchasing, workshop, and production teams.
- Represent the brand at 2 to 3 major trade fairs or exhibitions per year and undertake occasional business travels to meet key client accounts or visiting the french team.


Profile / Skills required:

- Ideally, a dual background in electrical/electrotechnical engineering and business.
- If not, a minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales in a technical industrial environment (customized equipment, technical components, etc.).
- Strong business development mindset and excellent negotiation skills.
- Resilience, tenacity, and organization are essential for managing long sales cycles.
- Technical curiosity, both regarding developments in cells, accumulators, batteries, battery packs, and control electronics, as well as customer applications.
- Versatile: able to handle prospecting, account management, customer follow-up, and administrative duties.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a good ability to listen.
- Proficiency in IT tools.


Contract, salary and career progression :

- Learning curve: 1 year to completely understand Enix Power Solutions’ operations, 3 years to become fully autonomous.
- The scope of your accounts and business responsibilities will be adjusted based on your experience and growth within the team
- Open to all types of candidates experience and skills.
- Evolving salary scale based on experience and skill level:

Basic : £33,240 - £46,440
OTE : £4,410 - £18,522

- Working hours : 37,5 hours / week from Monday to Friday at 2:00 pm
- Organisation : Office-based
- Team and training:
*The team consists of 4 people in France (Saint-Egrève) and 3 people in UK (Solihull).
*A structured knowledge transfer plan is in place to ensure smooth onboarding, particularly as a key team member will be retiring next year.


Recruitment process:

1. Pre-qualification with our HR officer.
2. On-site interview with the UPERGY UK sales director.
3. On-site or videoconference interview with the Enix Power Solutions sales director, who is based in France.
4. Interview with Enix Power Solutions technical sales representatives.

This role is ideal for a technical and commercial professional, capable of handling long-term projects while strategically developing a client portfolio.
