Summary
Who we're looking for: Good standard of secondary education with demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills. Highly literate and numerate with strong analytical ability Track record of successful people and process management, ideally in a multi-functional environment Previous experience working in the healthcare industry or a similar customer orientated organisation Ability to understand key business processes and complex business issues. Ability to work with complex patient and finance administration systems and telephony systems. Demonstrated ability in people management to deliver a plan of activity through direct reports Ability to work effectively in an organisation where matrix management is key to success Ability to understand and manage effectively the impact of competing pressures and conflicting priorities IT literate and a competent user of the MS Office suite of products Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, including listening and facilitation skills. Working Pattern:37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday Start time between 07:00 - 10:00 Finish time between 15:00 - 18:00 The post holder will be leading a complex service and which may require participation in an on call rota. The job may require some evening and weekend working. The majority of the working week will be hospital based, however the job may entail some travel for area or national meetings that may require an overnight stay.
